Fact #1: I neglected to put the kids' swimming pool away at the end of the season and left it lying in the backyard. They have used it as an ice rink all winter.
Fact #2: I have been known to eat popcorn for dinner.
Fact #3: I am slightly obsessive compulsive about cleaning - the dishes are always done, the laundry is always folded, and there is never a speck of dust anywhere.

Since no one has guessed #2 yet I'll vote for that number.
Tough one. Very believeable entries. I will say #1 is the untruth.
#1- I would think you'd have to have a pretty big pool to skate on. I could be mistaken :)
I'm guessing #3 is the lie. It's the odd one out.
I doubt that the swimming pool would be smooth enough for ice skating. I pick that one.
Pretty sure the one about cleaning is the lie. The one about the swimming pool is totally true because it sounds like something our family would do.

Number 3 is the lie. I know this because I like you, and if you are a neat freak, you are the first one I've ever actually liked. Plus I too eat popcorn for dinner (or breakfast), and I once left the pool out so long that it created a brown alien crop circle in the lawn. :)
I think it is number 3, as a neat freak wouldn't have left the pool outside!
Then again, with that logic, if 3 was the truth then 1 is the lie, but I'm sticking with it!

Well, when you say "a skating rink", I'm not taking that too literally (i.e., your kids are actually wearing ice skates on it). They probably walk on the water a little bit (Hey! Maybe THAT'S how Jesus did it?!) and slip and slide.
Most mom's have had popcorn for dinner at one time or another.
So, I'm going with #3 as the lie. As someone else said above: No woman with a couple of kids has a totally spotless house. Not possible!
